Hi, My name Is PowerShell, Let's Be Friends!

Speaker: Amy Herold, Consultant Fortified Data

Summary: PowerShell wants to be your friend - your very powerful friend. In this session we will go over some PowerShell basics that will help get you started as well as some known "gotchas" when working in PowerShell. This is a beginner session - no PowerShell experience necessary. WARNING: You may get warm-fuzzies about PowerShell by attending this session.

About Amy: Amy Herold is currently pursuing her passions for SQL Server, Powershell and automation as a Consultant with Fortified Data. She holds the MCITP certification in SQL Server 2008 for Database Developer and Administrator and is currently pursuing her MCSE certification. In addition to being a frequent speaker at SQL Saturday events across the United States and panelist for Women in Technology sessions, Amy has also joined the board for the North Texas SQL Server User Group (NTSSUG).
